Factory Evaluation & Audit (FEA) is a must have activity to indentify if your registered supplier is in a qualified status, or if your goods are safe sourced, by evaluating the actual production capacity and capability of your manufacturer. We have 2 kinds of FEA activities, Initial Factory Evaluation (IFE) and Anual Factory Evaluation (AFE).
A: Initial Factory Evaluation (IFE)
IFE is an onsite factory evaluation on behalf of you at the manufacturer’s premises before you places an order to a new manufacturer. During the process of establishing your manufacturing supplier matrix, it is very important to figure out the real overall condition of the one you will do business with. The goal of our IFE service is to help you to obtain the actual profile of your to-be-partner manufacturing factory.
IFE focuses on the basic but vitally important aspects of the new manufacturing factory for your sourcing decision-making.
During the IFE our auditor will record and take pictures of every key aspect for your reference to make you have actual feeling and sense about the factory before you sign the contract.
B: Anual Factory Evaluation (AFE)
AFE, as its name, is an annually onsite factory evaluation on behalf of you at the manufacturer’s premises, we do almost the same as what we did in IFE, but more comprehensive than IFE and focuses on more details of factory’s quality assurance system.
Besides the same goal as of IFE, that is to avoide being involved in a binding with the wrong factory, we also check how much the situations in your manufacurer changed in the last year, for example, production devices update, quality of operators change, quality system improvement, technology envolution, etc, to give you a whole picture of what status your registered partner is in currently, from professional view.
Same to IFE, during Factory Audit, our auditor will record and take pictures of every key aspect for your reference.
Both IFE and AFE are generally supposed to be completed less than two days, it depends on the location of factory, factory’s actual status, your special needs, product category, and the complexity of manufacuring progress.
